Disclaimer StormCaster
General
With StormPlatform and our web app StormCaster we strive to do everything we can to keep all the runs and output of weathermodel ICON-D2@1K as accurate, as reliable and as up-to-date as possible. However, technical and/or human imperfections in the process cannot be ruled out. Moreover, the weather model charts of ICON-D2 are a simulation for the near future, not fixed facts, or exact weather predictions.
The main goal of StormCaster is to inform the inhabitants of the Benelux as timely and as accurately as possible if extreme weather threatens them or there is at least a higher risk for extreme weather phenomena. Small fluctuations on one day can mean a big difference on the other day. It’s the weather. Weather will always be partly unpredictable.
StormPlatform therefore accepts no liability whatsoever with regard to direct or indirect damage, as a result of the use of StormCaster and it’s expectations, warnings, output or images, for personal reasons or when sharing images from StormCasrster on media, social media and/or for or any other outlets, or the impossibility of reaching the StormCaster, for whatever reason. The actions of this or that person during extreme weather situations are entirely at their own risk.
